It all began when I made my first book at age 2. I told my mom what to write and we taped it all together. Decades later, I still love stories and the way they make me feel when I share them. Join me on my journey of doing what I love the most... telling you a story.
Why I created my blog
Sometimes the stories behind the stories are just as wonderful! How did a character get their name? Why is there a one-eyed cow in your book? Are any of your characters like your family? Where do you get your ideas? Sometimes my stories end, but I have one more chapter I'd like to share about how the book came to be. That's what I'm hoping for the future of this blog.
In addition, I want you to know all about what's coming up in the literary world! I'll let you know where I'll be teaching and fun book promotions .... so stay tuned.
My values
When I was little, I wanted to read all the adventure books. The older kid books often had language or content that was too mature. I want to write the type of books that you will never have to wonder if it is appropriate for you. We all have different view points and that makes life wonderful. What is appropriate for you is your decision, and I honor that. I include themes of love (friend and family), courage, hard work, and hope. I will not include foul language or sex in any of my books.
